Professor Henrik Hagberg PhD MD
Professor Henrik Hagberg is Swedish and an internationally recognised researcher specialising in perinatal brain injury mechanisms. He became Professor in Obstetrics at Sahlgrenska Academy, Gothenburg University, Sweden 2000 and received a Fullbright fellowship in USA 2001. He spent one year as guest Professor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore and in 2008, was appointed Professor of Obstetrics at Imperial College and honorary consultant at Queen Charlotte’s Hospital in London. Professor Hagberg has published 250 scientific papers and supervises 28 PhD students.
